Sunshine and Rainbows

Sunshine and Rainbows

Sometimes life just isn’t fair and throws up immense obstacles for children that they and their families have to overcome.

Shellie has designed a brand new package, we are calling Sunshine and Rainbows. This is a free portrait session and edited images on a beautiful USB offered to children who have medical struggles in their lives. They may be requiring a lot of medical attention or operations, special care for life, they may be terminally ill or very poorly. We’d just like to offer the opportunity to have some beautiful memories captured that can be treasured forever.

Here at Shellie Wall Photography, we aren’t miracle workers and we don’t have magical cures, however, we feel there is a little something that we can do, that, although is small in the grand scheme of things, may actually help to provide a little respite from the dark reality that sometimes clouds those who are struggling.

Sunshine and rainbows come after even the worst storms, if we can help people to have a break and a fun relaxed session that brings smiles even for a short time, and let a little brightness back into their lives, then we will be happy.

Little Harper recently had her Sunshine and Rainbows session with Shellie, Harper was born prematurely and spent 7 weeks in NICU, she was later diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. Her Mum, Natasha had this to say about her session with Shellie,

“Our little girl has Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy and we are fundraising for her to have a life changing operation in America that could one day help her to walk. Shellie contacted us a few months ago via our fundraising page and sent us a lovely message offering to take some professional photos at no cost to ourselves just so we could have some lovely memories to look back on. This was such a kind and thoughtful gesture and it came to us at a time when we were quite low about our little girl’s condition and future so it really have us something to look forward to as a family. When we visited Shellie at her studio she was so friendly and extremely patient and understanding towards our little girl; part of her Cerebral Palsy means she is unable to sit unaided and is often quite scared and sensitive so perhaps not an easy person to photograph but this did not phase Shellie at all and she was so calming thoughout the whole shoot that she made us all feel at ease. The photos we were sent are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and you would never even know that in some of them our daughter had been crying literally seconds before! Such a lovely experience which, for a few moments, made us forget all about her struggles and made us feel like a “normal” family.”

Shellie welcomes anyone who meets the criteria to her warm and welcoming studio, where there is a relaxed atmosphere and she will tailor the sessions to suit individual needs, Like the gorgeous Raymond, who’d had multiple surgeries.

We have now got a just giving page which we would like to ask you to read, share and give.
