What an amazing year 2018 has been for Shellie Wall Photography, as always Shellie’s passion lies with her newborn photography and has seen so many beautiful brand new small people through the studio doors. Shellie kept things fresh with updated props and new ideas, as well as sticking to her gorgeous and recognisable classic and timeless style.
Shellie was also lucky enough to welcome many twins and triplets and even some quads to the studio, which as fans will be aware are her speciality and while she adores all new babies, multiples have her incredibly happy every time they have a session.
Shellie also introduced the highly successful and limited edition Mummy and Me sessions, resulting in some incredible images to pull at any mum’s heart strings.
Alongside the regular work this year, Shellie decided she wanted to give something back, firstly with our charity calendars. YOU the followers of Shellie Wall Photography voted for our calendar images and we worked hard to get sponsors on board , chose the East Anglia Air Ambulance as a charity , sourced a printer and designed the calendars themselves, showcasing some of Shellie’s inspired work You can still get hold of these calendars by making a donation here : https://shelliewallphotography.co.uk/charity-calender/ a fabulous way to help a worthy charity and go old school with your appointments for 2019!
As well as the calendar, Shellie also introduced her Sunshine and Rainbows sessions, which are dedicated to children suffering with life threatening and life limiting illnesses, to help provide a little respite from real life and to capture beautiful images for them and their families to treasure. Sessions gifted by Shellie to provide a little sunshine after the rain. 2018 has also seen Shellie work on a variety of pop up studios, portrait sessions and cake smashes , as well as collaborations with body artists to produce some amazing results.
Most excitingly , on Monday the 3rd of December, to her great delight, Shellie won her category at The Norwich Pregnancy, Baby and Child awards 2018, beating off stiff competition from other local photographers. She also sponsored a category at these awards.
2018 has been incredibly busy and very diverse for Shellie Wall Photography. Looking forward to 2019, Shellie plans to once again focus primarily on her first love of newborn photography, as well as unique and stunning maternity sessions, including a collaboration with a glitter body artist for bespoke maternity images.
While she will still do the occasional pop up and limited edition sessions , they will be more limited throughout 2019, and we anticipate them selling out fast when they are available , so do keep your eyes open – when they are gone, they will be gone!
All in all 2018 has been an amazing year with so many highs, Shellie and the team would like to thank every single customer who has been through the studio doors and each and every one of you who has bought calendars, donated to Sunshine and Rainbows, liked images, entered competitions or voted on images – you’re all brilliant.
